How can you support the Blue Star Banners of Lawrence?
Because there is no line item in the city’s budget to support the Blue Star Banner program, it is underwritten by fundraising and private donations. This program continues to be no cost to the service members or their families.
There are three levels of sponsorship to choose from:
Gold Star sponsorship is a minimum amount of $1,000 for the purchase of 10 banners
Silver Star sponsorship is a minimum amount of $500 for the purchase of 5 banners
Bronze Star sponsorship is a minimum of $25, which goes toward the purchase of 1 banner
